 Kerrie Peterson is the owner and operator of Mrs. Fixxit Family Repair and a New Jersey licensed home repair contractor. She is also married to Pete and the mother of 5 kids ages 8 through 17 and three dogs.
Kerrie grew up in rural Texas where folks know how to work hard and get things done. She's been fixing, building, and designing for as long as anyone can remember, but Kerrie began to notice that, despite what you see on TV, very few women contractors were working or running home improvement companies in our area. It was in 2008 that Kerrie decided to create Mrs. Fixxit Family Home Repair!
Kerrie has always believed that the construction industry is ideal for women and this was her opportunity to build a great company that would give more women the chance to break into the business.
Kerrie loves a challenge and is fascinated by older homes. She is constantly learning about new products, methods, tools and trends in an effort to ensure that her clients have the best options to select from and to make sure that the job is completed in the most efficient way possible.
